August 15 is National Relaxation Day. It is a day when we can choose to stop and smell the roses.

Relaxation is one of the things that can help us elevate is our attitude. Attitude stems from your state of mind and way of thinking

I witnessed many examples of people that made their own luck only with a good attitude and the belief that “this too shall pass,” even when reality seemed to not be in their favor at that time. Attitude allows us to see if the glass is half full or half empty.

9 tips to Celebrate National Relaxation day

  1. Take a walk in Nature. Take time to ground yourself, this is also known as “earthing” and relax.

  2. Find joy and laughter. Laughter exercises your insides.

  3. Take a break from the news and social media

  4. Listen to music or solfeggio frequencies. There are many that are specific to healing, transformation, relaxation, and more…

  5. Engage on a project that you enjoy. It is meditative and healing.

  6. Indulge yourself in a laid back activity. Pamper yourself or take a nap in a hammock.

  7. Surprise someone, if making a difference in someone’s life makes you happy.

  8. Visit a place you always wanted to but have not made time for it.

  9. Do a spiritual practice, or create sacred space.

Relaxation Day gives us a break from routine. This can be beneficial for our health. Our major organs as well as stress and digestion can improve when we give ourselves a break.
