Understanding an EP Slide

Every week, Life's Simple Pleasures shares an energy forecast to bring awareness and to help you increase your potential to succeed. We call them Energy Potential slides and we post them every Sunday on social media. 

The information shared on an EP slide is based on Chinese Date Selection, which some refer to as Chinese Astrology, but it is so much more than that.

An EP slide includes the date, a day title, a description of the energy, an element and an animal, plus stars or x's. If you have not had the benefit of taking Veronica's 9 Steps course, these slides may be confusing. And if you see other Master's sharing similar slides, they might include MORE information and cause you to become even more baffled. So here is a breakdown of what we provide to help our friends and clients plan for the upcoming weekly energy.

Every slide is dated twice so you know when this energy will occur and so you can plan. We also color code the slides. Red slides are the best action days of the week. Gold is the best energy of the week in general, and blue slides are days to do normal things, and be at peace as much as you can. The example used here is of a blue slide.

day it will be. (See Example 2) Not only are there 12 general day types, you also have personal avoid days, and four different kinds of auspicious days that apply only to you based on your natal chart. They are; Wealth Days, Power Days, Health Days, and Fame Days. These days appear on personalized calendars you can purchase from Veronica when they become available at the end of each calendar year. Or you can schedule a Personal Consultation with Veronica, in which she reviews your Natal Chart, and will note these days for you.

Each type of day has suitable and unsuitable activities. When the EP slides are written up for publication, you'll note that Veroncia will go further into detail as necessary. You are more than welcome to post questions when we do these shares. Knowledge is key and helping you to understand the slides is our pleasure.

You'll note each slide has a star or x rating. 3 stars is the most optimal, 3 x's the least optimal energy. (Example 4) This comes from the Dong Gong Date Selection system. Dong Gong was a legendary, even mystical, Master of Diviniation. Originally used (and still is) to find the most optimal days for weddings, business openings, travels, etc., The Dong Gong system is combined many other systems and factors to achieve optimal advice for each day.

Each slide represents one of the 60 pillars found in the natal chart and is made of an element on top called Stem and an animal assigned on the bottom called Branch. When you do a Natal Chart for yourself, you will see you have more animals than just the year you were born. You also have an animal for the hour of your birth, the day, and month.

Your year pillar represents your industry, your personal branding, social circle, and your relationship with your grandparents.

The month pillar represents your career, boss, your relationship with parents and siblings - while your day pillar represents the self, your home and your relationship with your significant other.

Your hour pillar relates to projects, employees, investments, and your relationship with your children.

If the animal on the energy potential slide matches one of your pillars, this is the area where the energy potential can be strong. Therefore, in order to make use of the energy of the day, focus on that area, if applicable..

The Chinese Date Selection system gives us awareness of energetic opportunities so we can make better choices and decisions. Better choices bring far better outcomes. This allows for growth, success, fulfillment and ultimate satisfaction. In my humble opinion, it is the best system there is.
