I was not aware of how many different schools of Feng Shui were being shared in this article. After reading it, I realized that some of the information appears to contradict one another.
Some information is new age based - using crystals and vision boards. These were not really considered to be part of the Feng Shui texts in the old days. These items can be great personal tools, but they do not move or transform the energy of your home. This is one of the concepts that is not easy to master.
Bringing Clarity
One of the reasons why I continue to write and publish weekly is to bring awareness of the amazing ancient wisdom of Feng Shui.
No doubt, people love their homes and the term Feng Shui has a mysterious ring to it. To most people, Feng Shui represents a peaceful environment, where items are in their place; colors, furniture, and decor are coordinated, creating an expansive feel to a space.
However, after going down the rabbit hole of continuing education and working as Feng Shui consultant for 15 years, I understood how complex Feng Shui can be. This is why I am sharing a few tips for 2025.
7 Tips to Bring Good Luck Into Your Home in 2025
Understand that the Universe is a living entity and is influencing your daily life. Feng Shui is not a set it and forget it practice. The Universe is not static, it is constantly changing.
Know your compass directions and sectors of your home. There are 4 cardinal ( N, S, E, W ) and 4 sub cardinal directions ( NE, SE, SW, NW ).
Yearly afflictions. Knowing what sectors are afflicted and to what degree brings awareness to your actions and choices. Don’t disturb the most negative area of 2025: the Northeast. Avoid digging, moving furniture or remodeling. Add metal to this sector instead. Being unaware of activating negative sectors can bring disharmony and negative outcomes.
There is no Wealth Corner in the far left corner of your space. There is a direction and a sector. Everyone has a personal wealth sector. Having an accurate floor plan is most important. Hopefully your wealth corner does not land in the toilet or storage area.
Lights are indoor and/or outdoor enhancers - don’t place them in the Northeast. Place them in the South 2 area instead.
Plants can be good Feng Shui, and this includes bamboo. In order for them to make a difference, they need a sector and personalized placement. Flowers and bamboo can enhance your relationships. However, everyone has a personal sector based upon their natal chart. Plants can enhance the Southeast. By the way, money plants do not bring money in.
Water features cannot be placed randomly, as they can trigger energy in the wrong place/wrong time. Avoid placing a water fountain in the East - it will trigger the 3 Killings Calamity Energy for 2025, bringing negative luck. This area can also affect the oldest son.
We have started a new era, one where we are the creators of our life. I cannot think of a better tool and system to use than Feng Shui, which has brought numerous positive results in my life, as well as the lives of my clients.
